Jet Lag

Well, we think we are finally getting over the jet lag. In O'ahu it took me a few days to get adjusted. By 9:00 p.m. every night, I couldn't keep my eyes open or my head up. Roger didn't seem to have any problems with jet lag there. But now that we're home, we both felt it the first few days. We got up this morning when the alarm went off even though we wanted to keep sleeping. We are both hoping to be done with it especially Roger since he goes back to work tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. Yes, on Memorial Day. Roger's work is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so holidays are work days for most employees. But he will take some of that time off next Thursday and/or Friday to be home when our new windows are installed. Roger seems to be excited about going back to work. He is definitely happy about getting back to "normal" meaning being home for good and getting back to a normal routine. Going back to work is helping to get that established. We'll see how he feels by the end of the first week. :)
